Service Description

The Garden Virtual Tutoring incorporates research based strategies that include interdisciplinary studies, relationship building, and data-driven lesson structures to ensure students meet their goals. This service includes one 60 minute virtual session which includes a warm-up, structured practice, and a 15 min independent assessment that will be submitted online. Feedback will be provided and result will be used to develop plans for the next meeting. FAQ What platform is used for virtual tutoring sessions? Virtual sessions will be carried out on Zoom. What days are sessions offered?* Virtual sessions will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays. In-Person sessions will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays. All sessions will take place between the hours of 9am and 1pm. *Sessions requested outside of these days and times are available and subject to price increases. Can I book multiple sessions? Yes! Ms. Harvey recommends booking at least 3 sessions in order to ensure your spot. How soon after I purchase do sessions begin? After your first purchase, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours which includes a link to Ms. Harvey's calendar to schedule a consultation. This consultation is FREE and will be used to: Establish learning goals Discuss student strengths and growth opportunities Negotiate a schedule if booking multiple sessions Ms. Harvey will add you to her calendar and you will receive a confirmation (with the Zoom link and password for virtual sessions) within 2hrs of the consultation. What grade levels do you service? Ms. Harvey works with students Grades 3-12. Exceptions can be made for students younger than 3rd grade What subjects do you tutor? Ms. Harvey is certified in Math and Science content areas including SAT prep. Her background in literature also allows her to with college essay writing and creative writing.ket
